"Kay" was born April 21, 1924, in Lanark, Idaho, to Ernest and Elnora Hymas. He married Betty Terkelson May 14, 1947, in the Salt Lake City Temple. Kay was a U.S. Naval veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by his parents; six siblings; and son, Craig. Kay is survived by his wife, of 59 years, Betty; five children, Susan (Dale) Mann, Dave, Pamela (Joe) Herbst, Debra (Gary) Johnson, Melanie (Mark) Thummel; 22 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and sister, Lois. Visitation will be at noon Wednesday, Feb. 22, at Davis Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Private family services to follow at 1 p.m. Arrangements handled by Davis Funeral Home.
