Born January 25, 1908, in Paris, Idaho to Marion C. and Ella Shepherd Clark. Married Dorothy Smith, August 29, 1934, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. After the death of Dorothy on February 3, 1988, married June Smith Harker, November 24, 1989. Attended public schools in Georgetown and Paris, Idaho and moved to Utah in 1929. Graduated from the University of Utah in 1933. Served a six month LDS mission to Colorado, funded by his fianc‚, Dorothy. Obtained employment as a teacher and Principal in the town of Geneva, Idaho, then Victor and settled in at St. Anthony, Idaho. In 1945 Ellsworth moved his family to Utah to work at Hill Air Force Base and later obtained employment at Granite High school where he retired after 29 years of teaching. Ellsworth also worked many years at the Hotel Utah flower shop, Hilton Cramer florists, and Flower Patch in Sandy to help provide for his large! family. Ellsworth served in the Bishopric in St. Anthony Idaho and as a clerk in the Nibley Park Ward of the Granite Stake. He also enjoyed many years of teaching Sunday School and the High Priest Group in the Grandview 2nd Ward. Served a couple mission to Corsicana, Texas, with his wife, June. His hobbies included caring for house plants and flowers, bowling, and painting. Survived by nine children: Norman (Charleen), Salt Lake City; Robert (Evelyn), Ogden; Renee Stansel (John deceased), Rancho Palos Verdes, CA; Dorothy Chamberlain (Leon), Salt Lake City; Charles (Sally), Farmington; Mary Anne Koski (Kent), Gilbert, AZ; John (Becca), Payson; Richard (Chris), Murray; David (Heidi), Sandy; a foster son, Cody Black (Vaida), Page, AZ; and one sister, Iris Larsen, of Idaho Falls. 65 grandchildren and 110 great-grand-children. Preceded in death by his wives, Dorothy and June; brothers Clifton and Gordon; and sisters Hazel Sonzini, Helen Gunnerson and June Turley. Funeral Servic! es will be held Saturday, May 6, 11:00 a.m., in the Grandview 2nd ward , 2930 S 2000 East. Friends may call at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, Friday, May 5, from 6-8 p.m. and Saturday 9:45-10:45 at the ward prior to the services. Interment, Salt Lake City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Perpetual Education Fund and the General Missionary Fund.
