He was born in Sharon, Idaho, on December 5, 1927, to parents William J. Prescott and Eveline Annie Hansen, the last of seven children, Blanche, Marvin, Nellie, Lorin, Evert, LaDean and himself. He is survived by three children, William, of Eagle, Idaho, SanDee, of Pingree, Idaho, and John, of Portland, Ore. He was preceded in death by his beautiful wife, Gladys Elaine (Parsons) Prescott, his parents, and siblings. The question is, where did he go? Most of you think that you know and feel that it is bad. He did not think it would be bad at all, but a blissful peace. Those of you that knew him should, if you can, take pleasure in you remembrance of associations with him. If you cannot — forget it. He often claimed he had given freely of his wisdom (especially to establish our democracy), but was generally not understood or appreciated. According to his wishes, immediate cremation was arranged under the direction of Grove City Funeral Home in Blackfoot. No services are planned. He hoped that his immediate family would gather in his honor at a later date.
