Surnames: Teichert, Kohlhepp, Brady Classification: Obituary Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/hd.2ADI/1709 Message Board Post: Idaho State Journal 08/03/06 COKEVILLE, Wyo. — Herman Kohlhepp Teichert, 88, passed away on the evening of July 31, 2006, at his home.He was born July 1, 1918, in American Falls, Idaho, to Herman A. and Minerva Kohlhepp Teichert. Herman moved with his family to Cokeville in 1927, where he was engaged in ranching. Herman married Buhla Brady of Virginia, Idaho, on May 29, 1942, and of this union are 10 children, Burke (Georgia), Trudy (LeGrande) Lamb, Teresa Balser, Richard (Debra), David (Sally), Ronald (Vonda), Briant (Clyda), Chad (Kris, deceased), Marlene (Sam) Allred, and Kristen (Kirt) McDaniel. Herman was a lifelong active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, having served twice as a missionary, as a young man in East Germany prior to World War II, and later with his wife in New Zealand, also as a bishop, high counselor, member of the stake presidency, temple ordinance worker, and many other callings. Herman is survived by his wife and children; 65 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren; brothers, Robert (Marjorie), Hamilton (Judy), John (Dorothy; and sister, Laurie (Charles) Eastwood. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter-in-law and two grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 5, 2006, at noon in the Cokeville LDS Chapel. Friends may visit with family at Matthews Mortuary on Friday, August 4, 2006, from 6 to 8 p.m., and also from 9:30 to 11:45 a.m. the day of the service in the Cokeville LDS Church. Interment will be in the Cokeville Cemetery.
