My mother was Elizabeth Tippets Newman who grew up in Georgetown. I believe that your father might be a nephew of my grandfather, Walter "Henry" Tippets, and a cousin of my mother. I have lost touch with my mother's family. I was looking for some historical background about the pioneers who originally emigrated to Utah and to Georgetown. I live in Roseburg, Oregon and my brother Richard lives in Pocatello.
