She is having a joyous celebration with her eternal companion, parents, brothers and sisters, two grandsons and one great-grandson. Fontella was born to George and Sarah Passey February 1, 1914 in Thayne, Wyoming (Formerly of Bear Lake County). She married Merlyn D. Kunz, November 18, 1939, later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on April 9, 1971. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held many positions over the years. The gospel and her family were always important to her. She loved the chaos of everyone getting together. Fontella was a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers and Shasta Club. She loved to quilt, crochet, knit, tat, make ceramics, and cook. She was the baker at the State Hospital. After she retired, she and her husband spent the next five winters in Mexico, catching and bottling tuna. She had a great sen! se of humor and loved everyone. \ She is survived by her three children: Myrna (Richard) Galloway of Afton, WY; DeeOrr (Sherry) Kunz of Buena Park, CA; and Barbara (Wes) McKnight of West Valley City, UT; 18 grandchildren, and 34 great-grand-children. Special thanks to everyone at the Beehive Home of Magna and Life Path Hospice for all of their love and care. Funeral services will be held at the Morse Lee LDS Stake Center, 1224 Morse Lee St. in Evanston, WY. on Friday, January 27, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. A viewing will be held at Crandall Funeral Home, 800 Uinta St. in Evanston from 11:00 a.m.-12:45 p.m. prior to services on Friday.
