He was born Oct. 20, 1920 in St.Charles, Idaho to Sydney Pugmire and Forest Rich. On Dec. 31, 1941 he married Noma Lee Lamborn. They resided in Laketown, Utah where they raised their five children, Nancy, Dennis, Lorraine, Kelvin and Todd. He also had 13 grandchildren and was an important part of their lives as they all lived nearby growing up. His 17 great-grandchildren also brought him much joy. Dean was a miner and farmer/rancher who enjoyed being outdoors, especially in the autumn and during the deer hunt. He took great pride in his growing family and loved having them near. He touched many with his beautiful singing voice and will be missed by all, especially his son and best buddy, Todd. He is preceded in death by his wife, Noma Lee; his parents; a daughter, Elizabeth; and his four brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 27, at the Laketown LDS Chapel. Friends may visit with family from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Laketown church and from 11:30 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. Friday. Interment will be in the Laketown Cemetery with services under the direction of Matthews Mortuary, Montpelier, Idaho.
