He was born March 9, 1960 to Roy and June Smith Childers in South Bend, Indiana. He later moved to Montpelier, Idaho where he meet the love of his life Vickie Padilla. They married and had three children, Crystal, Uriah and Tresa Childers. They were raised in Salt Lake. Don also had another son, Kenneth Blauer, and a daughter, Tasha Blauer, who will welcome her dad with open arms. Don loved music and liked to play the guitar. Most of all he loved his family and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, daughters and son; grandchildren, Tyler, Erika, Gage Rebecca, Melody and Thoerie the newest baby. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 13th, 5:00 p.m. at the Granger 15th Ward, 2835 South 2855 West. Friends may call from 3:00-5:00 p.m. also at the church.
