Cook, 67, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 24, 2007, at a local medical center. Carol was born on December 18, 1939, in St. Charles, Idaho, to George and Hope Linford. She obtained her early education in St. Charles, and graduated from Pocatello High School in 1958. She lived in Pocatello most of her life. On April 5, 1968, she married Lloyd Cook. She worked as a secretary for a consulting firm, Boise Cascade, North West Trucking and USF Reddaway. She was an officer for the fraternal order of Eagles Auxiliary No. 119. She was also a member of the LDS Church. Carol enjoyed bowling, gardening, crocheting, hunting, fishing and cooking. Her family was her biggest interest in her life. She liked to get in her car and pick up her mother and go exploring new roads. Funeral services for Carol will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, February 28, 2007, at the Colonial Funeral Home, 2005. S. Fourth Avenue, Pocatello. A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, February 27, 2007, at the funeral home and one hour prior to the services on Wednesday. Interment will follow services on Wednesday at the Restlawn Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.colonial-funeralhome.com.
