She was born June 29, 1924, in Soda Springs, Idaho, to Velma Adams and Herbert Allenback. She married Edgar K. Christensen July 20, 1940, in Soda Springs. They lived in Wyoming for a time, but settled in Georgetown where they built their home. Edgar passed away March 29, 1994. She loved gardening in her raspberries and flowers and loved to make quilts for her kids, grandkids and great-grandkids. She also loved having visitors and always had a full house especially in the fall. Surviving family includes two daughters and two sons, Susan (Herbert) Ramey of Montpelier, Wendy (Bill) Barringer of Georgetown, Chris (Marla) Christensen of Nounan and Lynn (Sheree) Christensen of Georgetown. Surviving also are nine grandkids and 11 great-grandkids. She will be missed by all. She was preceded in death by an infant son, a daughter, Anne, two sisters - Ruth Gentry and Elaine Gentry, and her husband, Edgar. Graveside services will be held Monday, Feb. 12, at 11 a.m. in the Fairview Cemetery in Soda Springs with the services under the direction of Matthews Mortuary of Montpelier, Idaho.
