She was born August 7, 1920 in Paris, Idaho to Irettia and Ezra Passey. She married Glen Albert Bird on March 19, 1942; he died January 24, 1992. Inez, Iney, Mom, Grandma Bird and Gram were just a few of the many different names used by people that have loved this special Lady. Her example of strength, courage, kindness and unconditional love will be an example to all of us. Mom always put a positive spin on life's challenges. She loved her friends and enjoyed spending time shopping, lunches and travel. She created a sea of memories with her unique ways. Your family and friends will miss you deeply. Mom is survived by her three children: Glenda Bateman (mom's best friend), Wayne G. (Sherry) Bird, Keith T. (Lori) Bird; brother, Rex (Donna) Passey; sister, Norma (Bob) Pickard, nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her darling Glen and her beloved granddaughter, Christine Gough. Graveside services will be Tuesday, November 1, 2005 at 2 p.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. 10600 So., where family and friends may visit from 12:30 to 2 before the service.
