She lived there for two years while her father was working building houses. She was raised in Evantson, Wyoming, where she graduated from Evanston High School in 1933. She was very active in drama, French and especially in dancing. She won many dancing contests even before she met Elmer M. Moss at a dance. They experienced "love at first sight" and were married six months later in the Salt Lake LDS Temple in 1934. They had four daughters: Elgie Louise Johnson of Centerville, Erin M. Conner (Bill Park Conner) of Moroni, Marian M. Frances of Bountiful, and Roma Marie Moss who died in 1947. In 1946, the family moved to South Bountiful, Utah. With Elmer as her partner, Frances danced in floor shows and taught many young people to dance on both ward and stake levels. Frances was always active in the LDS church continuing her work with drama, leadership and teaching positions in MIA, Relief Society, and Sunday School. She worked extensively on her genealogy and family histories and was still working for the church doing data entry on her computer at age 89. In addition to church work, Frances worked 21 years as secretary/receptionist at Bountiful State Bank and Zions First National Bank. After her husband died in 1977, she volunteered at the Golden Years Senior Center and directed the Golden Years Band for 10 years. She loved to quilt and she made quilts for many of us; she also knit hundreds of hats for the Humanitarian Relief Effort. In addition to her three daughters and her brother Col. Jack Tueller, she is survived by eight grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Her sister and brothers Hazel Faddis, Harry L. Bodine and Robert Tueller preceded her in death. A graveside service will be held at Bountiful Cemetery on Monday, October 17th, 2005 at 1 p.m. Online guest book at www.russonmortuary.com.
