He passed away on July 3, 2006 in Logan, Utah. He was preceded in death by his loving parents, brothers, Grant and Rex and sister, Jean. He was also preceded in death by his lovely wife, Helen Hulme Budge; sons, Richard Budge, David Budge, Larry Budge, Gordon Budge and only daughter, Venice Wilkerson. He is survived by his sister, Ann Bushman of Lehi, Utah; 11 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. Elliott graduated with his Bachelor Degree in Geography from Utah State University, Logan, Utah in 1938, his Masters Degree form the University of Utah, Salt Lake City, Utah in 1950 and continued his graduate work at the University of Minnesota. Elliott was a dedicated educator for 43 years, as well as a member of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and a director of the Mendalson choir of Provo. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 7, 2006 at Nelson Funeral Home, 162 East 400 North, Logan. Viewings will be held Thursday evening, July 6, 2006 from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to services. Interment will be in the Logan City Cemetery.
