He was born July 13, 1933 in Paris, Idaho to Jesse John and Vaughn Alberta Jacobson Lewis. He graduated from Fielding High School in Paris and attended Idaho State in Pocatello, Idaho. Hal served his country with the United States Air Force from 1954 to 1958 where he received an honorable discharge.Hal married Mary Lou Jacobs Moline on August 19, 1971 in Evanston, Wyoming. She preceded him in death. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Washington Terrace 3rd Ward.He retired from Hill Air Force Base in 1987 following 31 years of service as a supervisor of F-4 aircraft lines. Hal enjoyed fishing, boating and camping. Surviving are four stepchildren, John Craig (Colleen) Moline, Cummings, GA; George Thomas (Marsha) Moline, Taylor, UT; Patsy (Leonard) Andreasen and Cheri Webb, both of Washington Terrace; 16 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, one brother Fredrick Lewis and one sister VonNell Lewis Hoffman. Our family expresses thanks to the staff at Ogden Regional Medical Center. We also want to thank our stepfather for the loving care he gave our mother in her final years. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 19 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may call at the mortuary on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd. Email condolences to the family at lom@lindquistmortuary.com
