We were told that there was a Way Jefferson(or Jeffries) Bennett who was the Territorial Governor of Idaho under Ulysses S. Grant. Unfortunately I can't find anything about him. If someone could at least confirm that he existed and was the territorial governor or knows where I could look please contact me.
