The Idaho State Historical Society has the Idaho death index from 1911-1950. Deaths before that were sometimes recorded at the county level. Death information from 1950 on have to be obtained from the Dept of Health and Welfare-Vital Records (www.state.is.us). If you get a date or a month, I would be glad to go to the Historical Society and see if I can find an obit. (They have Idaho newspapers on microfilm).
