    3. Hi List, Is there anyway to find old death records from 1889? I am looking for those around Caldwell, ID. I am looking for a Dora Ellen Lawson, (if married name not known) b.23Aug.1869 Honey Lake CA d. 4June1889. Also looking for a Joseph Lawerence(sec)Lawson b.23May1873 NV d.23Aug.1889. They say he was shot during a robbery of some kind. Parents were Cyrus and Sarah (DeForest) Lawson. Thanks for any help given, Helen

    3. Hi, Could find no Pettis in the Censuses. There were some Pettit. In 1880 there were 18 Greenes listed. In 1910 there were approx. 200 Green, and 33 Greene. I was not able to check the 1900 census yet. In the 1910 Census there were no Pettis in the census, but I did find 4 Pettit and 2 Pettitt. I cannot give you more information because I have deleted the first message, and so did not have first names. Also, when I printed off your message sent directly to me, it did not include your e-mail address, and so am answering to the list. Let me know names, etc, AGAIN(!!!) and I will look again. I am searching for descendants of John Thomas Collins(my grandfather) born approx. 1855 in Ireland and of Sarah Ann Gallagher born approx. 1862 in Massachusetts. There was a total of 9 children born into the family. I have the names of only 4; Frances b. 1889, Thomas b. 1892, Catherine b. 1898, and George(my father) b. 1900. My father was born in Greenwich Village, NYC where he lived until he was at least 36 years old. His birth address was 72 King St. in Greenwich Village. At 19, he lived at 393 Hudson (also in Greenwich Village). To my best knowledge, he took care of a niece and nephew. Names are unknown. Last known address in New York City was 290 W. 12th St. From there he moved to Louisville, KY, where he met my mother Lila Grey (Kennedy)Harrington. Ritter was Daniel's Mother's maiden name and on his death index said Walbridge father last. Olive Smith was Daniel's sister. She married Lloyd C. Smith in 1908.
