I am looking for this woman who I think was married to my grandfather Leroux Alonzo Pease. I know that they lived in Northern Idaho around both Benewah and Shoshone befor moving to CA. then OR. Betty was married to a Duggy-not sure of spelling and had 2 daughters- she divorced him to go with my grandfather, this had to be around 1951 or 52. Would appreciate any help.

The Rose/Boggs family in Lawrence Co., KY are my family line. My gg grandfather was John J. Rose. Julie, Arthur, Alier, Ernest, George, Joseph, Marie and Anna Asselin were all of Nampa at one time or another. The last surviving child was George, who died about three years ago. I think he was about 80. Joseph was my father. I was also born in Nampa, but was an infant when my family moved away. What's your connection? Are you doing a family history or something? While searching documents in CourtHouses/Libraries/Historical Societies in Clay and Jackson Counties, KY. I came across the name Boyd Maupin. It may have been in the census. but I lean toward a marriage bond/license. The County Clerk in McKee, Jackson Co., KY has been researching genealogical data for 24 years and was most helpful. Boyd is not in my direct line so I ignored the information. I recommend that you get on line and Email the County Clerk Jackson Co., KY.

Does anyone have any info on George William Virtue? He was my father, I never knew him. His sister was Lucille, known as Pug, another sister Mel Bond. The sisters I knew. I have just begun to research my great grandmother's family and need help. My G-Grandmother was Amanda Ellen Prewett. I don't know her birthplace, but her father, Esau Prewett was born in Indiana in 1836. Esau settled in Parkersburg (Riverton) Oregon in 1875 and married Sarah E. Archer. Their children were: Cornelia, Nancy, Mary, Martha, Thomas, Amanda, May E. D. (?), Lillie G., Rosilla E. B. As a child I remember my great aunts and uncles talking about "old Rupe", but don't remember what they said...and my g-grandma Amanda named her first son "Ancil". She married my great grandfather, William Wirt Kight and settled on his father's ranch a few miles away.
