Our Grey family has been worked out to Lady Jane Grey. Family name changes from Grey to Gray and back again. Very common English name. If you get near a big library, we got most of our info from the five volumns of "The families of Old Fairfied" by Jacobus. Most of the family was from Fairfield CT. Our branch spent some time in SoD and then went to Washington.Grey is my hubby's last name

If my mother-in-law were still alive, she might have been able to help. I have not done any searching on the Cottam line, and the Aunt I mentioned didn't have any children. My mother-in-law was related to the Cottams here in St. George. I have been searching the Grey line. Just found out my father's mother's name was Rena Grey. She died in 1889 giving birth to him. His name was Earl Barnes. Have you done any searching on Grey. It is a difficult one because of the different spellings. Good Luck on your Cottam search. I have a book on the Titanic sinking. It is called "A Night to Remember". There was a Cottam on board. He was the one who operated the telegraph. I can't find it, guess I loaned it out. There is a picture of him in the book. Alta
