This called a signature (or signature file)and since I don't know what email program you have I am not able to give specific instructions so I suggest going to your help index and typing in the word signature. This should tell you how to do it on your particular program. I have mine set so that it only goes with the message when I do an insert command. Hope this helps a little. If you have Outlook Express you can respond to me personally and perhaps I can help you a little more. About the Oregon Trail in Idaho. My grandparents moved from Saline County, Mo near Arrow Rock, (A ferry there took travelers across the river where the Trail was.)From that area, they went to LaBett, Kansas, where two of their sons were born, then later they ended up at Moscow, ID which is just about where ID and WA meet. Maybe that will give you a clue. I had not realized the Oregon Trail actually went to Idaho but recently saw a map showing that the trail went there, then south to Oregon, etc. Good Luck! My grandparents eventually farmed land near Troy, ID and raised family there. There is wonderful, productive land in the Palouse area around there. Many people homesteaded there or got land grants....and their descendants still live nearby. Hello List, Can anyone inform me of the paths through ID that the Oregon Traail took? I have the web address of one account, but seems there was an early route that was changed (?? why I don't know except maybe hostile territory). But I have an ancestor who followed and lead a wagon train in the 1840's and he did settle in the Williamette Valley. Any ideas helpful. -- FREE Membership - Genealogy World: Online databases, Query Boards, Tutorials: http://genealogyworld.com Sign Up for Our FREE Monthly Genealogy E-ZINE, Tips, New sources, New Ideas, and Great Stories.

I am looking for my great-grandparents - Gustave Thalheim and Emma (?). He migrated from Wisconsin with his wife Emma and three young sons in abt 1915. He and Emma (last name unk) apparently divorced prior to 1917 and placed all three boys in an orphanage in Pocatello where they were adopted to the same family in 1917. At or about that time, Emma became pregnant and remarried (unsure which came first). Gustave registered for the draft in Pocatello, Bannock, Idaho in Sept 1918 and lists his next of kin as Mrs. Kathrine Thalheim in Plymouth, Sheboygan, Wisconsin. I do not know if she is his mother, sister-in-law, or second wife. Does this sound familiar to anyone in Idaho? His registration card lists his occupation as trucking and his employer as ODL Ry Co. Any guidance appreciated.

Subject: Amos Moffatt and I-AH-TOTE-KITE : In correspondence with a fellow researcher of Oregon connections, I was : informed that he went to school with Moffitt twins in Kamiah, Lewis CO, : Idaho. I would think that this would be approximately 1955. Their father : was Nez Pierce and their mother was white. He referred to their father as : Reverend and he was a minister. His cousin married one of the twins. I : have no further information from him at this time. : : I did a search on http://abish.ricks.edu/fhc/gbsearch.asp and came up : with the following marriage information: : : ID # 149203 : Grooms First Name Amos : Grooms Last Name MOFFATT : Brides Last Name I-AH-TOTE-KITE : County of Marriage Nez Perce, Idaho : Place of Marriage Spaulding : Date of Marriage 07 Jun 1901 : Volume 2 : Page 130 : I am thinking that this could possibly be an ancestor of the twins that : he went to school with.
