    1. [Idaho] Look up request
    2. I am trying to break through one of the may dead ends in my efforts to discover all of the descendants of my immigrant g-g-grandparents. Like most of us, I lack the ability to visit every state vital records office personally so I am asking for your help. Could someone please check the state register for the death of George LAUSCHER? DOB Sept. 1885 in WI DOD After 1944 - place unknown George's parents were Hubert LAUSCHER and Mary Ann STOFFELS. George is not listed on the Social Security death index. He divorced his wife and left his home in MI about 1934 when his youngest son was 3. He is now 70 and never heard from or saw his father again. Since I am not a regular subscriber to all state lists, if you have any information that could help me discover George's death date and resting place, would you please e-mail me personally. In advance, thank you. Janet Mihelich

    3. Posted on: Query Forum for Unknown Place in Idaho ONLY If you know the place, go to the county site. Board URL: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Id/Unknown/323 Surname: Enos, Harris, Morrison, Jenkins ------------------------- I am searching for David and his siblings. I have found that he was born in Idaho but I do not know where at. His father's name was Thomas. The only marriage record I have found for his parents that is similiar is to a Nally A. Jenkins. Funny, his mothers name was Nancy Adeline Harris. But she had a child out of wedlock, Rudolph Jenkins. This leads me to believe that she maybe lied about her name as to save heartache for her family. The marriage date is given as exactly one year before David was born. Upon futher investigation I found no listing for any children for Thomas and Nally. Maybe I looked on the wrong place? If anyone can help me with this please let me know I really am stuck at this point. David's bd is July 17, 1896. The marriage date for Thomas and Nally is July 17, 1895. Thank you inadvance. Trace

    1. Mural size panoramic maps from the Library of Congress
    2. Ken McNeill
    3. This is a one time announcement. http://www.historicalart.net/ is pleased to announce our new historical map website. Panoramic Maps, 1847-1929 offer "bird's-eye" views of nineteenth and early twentieth century cities and towns across the nation. Each map contains a detailed look at architecture and urban planning of the period, and allows users to zoom in on particular areas. Our work focuses on large-scale printing of these map collections, produced in part with MrSID® (multiresolution seamless image database) technology by LizardTech. The library's initial use of this technology was for the delivery of historic panoramic maps that have been scanned into raster image files, so they could be viewed on a computer monitor. These primary historical documents reflect the attitudes, perspectives, and beliefs of different times. Most of these maps offer a genealogical value because they served as merchant directories, and most businesses of the time used their surname as part of the business name. We invite you to take a look. Historical Art
