I'm looking for fellow descendants of Ft. Dodge, Webster Co. Phelan's. My g-g-grandfather James Phelan (b.1809) and his spouse Anastasia Carroll (b.1817) came from Ireland in 1865. They had 9 children. One of those was James C. Phelan (b.1853) who married Mary Looby (b.1855c) and had 4 sons who survived to adulthood. Their names were Leo, Raymond, William, James. The son named James married Cornelia Ives of Ft. Dodge. J.C. & Mary (Looby) lived part of their lives in Ft. Dodge, part in Kalo, IA, part in Cedar Rapids.
