I hope everyone has been enjoying a good holiday season. As I mentioned when I first took this list on, I live in Fort Dodge, Webster County, Iowa. To me, this means I have access to resources on the local level. This does not mean I will be able to go look up everybody's information for them, but I can probably put you in touch with someone who can. :-) I am hoping to start posting local information on a regular basis. I don't know what form this will take, and it will depend on my schedule. I currently am working for Manpower, on an assignment which has an urgent deadline. After that, I will try to look for local information that I can pass along. Historical tidbits, for example. For new members of the list, I would like to let you know that if you click on "reply" to an email, it will probably send to the sender, not to the list. You will need to change the "to" to iawebste-L@rootsweb.com. You can add this to your address book in your email program and it will be easier to send your message to the list. And, lastly, I would like to invite all members of this list to post their Webster County surnames.
