Hi All, I have been working on the Eslick family for several years and have lots of information, but am always ready to find more and also to share. Our branch of the family is descended from Samuel and Nancy Pierce Eslick who came to Webster County in 1849 and from their daughter Sarah Lavina, who married Willard Allen 10 Oct 1870 in Elk Point. Sam and Nancy and several of their children moved to Elk Point, South Dakota in 1866 while other family members remain in Webster County to this day. I am still in South Dakota, though not near Elk Point. Jacqueline Davis Burt published a very good book on the Eslick-Pierce family in 1990 and I am wondering if she is still living in Webster County or if anyone out there could put me in touch with her.
