Morlan, 79, of russell, died at the Mercy Hospital in Des Moines, Sunday. He had been ill for some time and had been in the hospital about 10 days. He is survived y his widow and two sons: Everett of Confidence and merritt of Bronson, Mo., also two brothers, L.L. Morlan of Indianola and S. L. Morlan of Centerville and three sisters, Mrs. J.I. Free, Russell; Mrs Will Elam, Confidence, and Miss Vada Morlan, Confidence. Funeral Services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Woodman Funeral home at Russell with the Rev. Grace Anderson of the Russell Methoidst church in charge. Burial was in Confidence cemetery."
