There is a I. H. Ammons(1830-1913) and wife Susan (1832-1898)buried in Riverview. I. H.'s stone mentions Henshaw's Battery, Isaac was in Henshaw's Battery from 1863-1864 so it is probably him. Found a couple other families: William B. Ammons (1819-1976), married? Miley and buried in Ancona Cemetery. Also Mary E. Ammons (1858-1878)buried in Ancona Cemetery. Mrs. Elizabeth Ammons(1817-1914) husband of Solomon? was buried in Moon's Point Cemetey south of Streator. Children:?? Luvernia (Charles Bickerton), Dora (Zeb Skaggs), Nicholas, Lucinda (1847-1867), Christena Ellen (Josiah Woolford). Lucinda and Christena are buried in Moon's Point. I don't have any obits for these people, the info comes from tombstone inventories.
