Anne Wood of Guilford Co., NC, descendant, Jonathan Alexander, and his family, left Guilford Co., NC, and migrated to Iowa on Sep 1, 1852. They were in Centerville and Corydon, Wayne Co., IA. They had a son, JONATHAN ORLANDO ALEXANDER who m. Malinda J. TROGDON on Oct 28, 1858, in Corydon. They had several children, and eventually died and were buried near Seymour, Wayne Co., IA, in 1897 (him) and 1922 (Malinda). I am looking for anyone who knows of this family. Some of their children were: Nancy Elizabeth, Thomas Nathan, Ulysses Grant, Sarah Marticia, Almirea Charlotte, Jonathan Orlando, Jr., James Henry, Malinda Ellen, and Millard Eli...all ALEXANDERS.
