I am researching the family of Edward Noble Middlebrook b. 1863 NY. His mother and father brought him to Corydon about 1867 and had the rest of their big family there. Edward married a local girl, Effie about 1888 there and then they left on the Oregon Trail. The rest of the family stayed and lived all their lives in Corydon, and are mostly buried there. I would like to know the maiden name of the girl, Effie that he married, and about her family in Corydon. As of 1937 she had a brother still living in Camden, IA.
