Ryun, aka Jack. He was born around 1908. He lived in Des Moines, Ia. He married our mother around 1936. He had been married before and had a daughter named Martha. He was an only child and we don't know his parents names, but he did have an Aunt Ida whom we visited when we visited our grandparents, as they lived very close to each other just up the hill from Riverside Ammusment Park. He and my mother were divorced around 1947. We moved to Atlantic, Ia., and last saw him there in 1950. He was with a woman he introduced as his wife, we think. He moved to Appanoose county with his parents in the year of 1851, and has lived on or near the same farm since. He was married to Eunice Freeman on December 19, 1872, and she preceded him in death on August 10, 1907. To them were born 10 children, two sons, and eight daughters. The two sons, Newton E. and Elmer died in 1893 and 1903 respectively. The remaining children, May Robertson, Laura Elgin, Georgie Atwell, Iva Robertson, Emma Jeffries, Fern Jeffries, Leta Teater, all near home and Daisy King, of Winnebago, Minn. All were present except Emma, who was sick. In the immediate family are also 34 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He ha one sister living, Mrs. Jane Butler, of Seymour. Surnames: Corder,Fox,Evans*,Salter,Parrish,Smoak,Stone*--(indian connections*) Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/Cl.2ADI/140.215.313.312.1.1.2 Message Board Post: I do think that it is {so strange}that different family connections tend to show up in the Corder family history,just about anywhere you search--I live in SC,and my line here has 2---Duncan Families married into the Corder line---one,Claredge(I know I misspelled that one)Duncan,(wife Olean*)--children,Jeanne,George,Duanne(deceased)--And the other,Olin,and wife,Vera-*which were Dads sisters---children,Loretta,Bobby,Carl--many other 1st and last names seem to also cross nearly everywhere I look--as in 1st names for Corders--Steven,John,William,Emanuel,Jack,etc....keep on searching ,thats the way we find things we never knew about our family---
