I have seen census records that far off before so I don't know if she is the same person. The other thing I'm looking at is that the children of Gustaf "Munson" are using his surname in the 1880 census in Lucas County, and so i don't know if Anna went by Gustafson or Munson. My Anna Gustafson immigrated in 1872 or 1873.

I would like to know where her sister Mary Ellen Ratliff Davis (b. 1 Apr. 1851 in Butler Coungy Ohio) was living before her marriage to John W. Davis b. Oct. 24, 1845 in Jackson county, Indiana and if John W. Davis was related to Andrew J. Davis. I would like to know how Lucinda and Mary Ratliff came to be in Iowa. We can't find their parents, Wm. and Nancy Nichols Ratliff on any census. Censuses that Lucinda was on after her marriage say that she and her parents were born in VA. I would also like to know if the Jesse Ratliff family who lived in Wayne County Iowa from the 1850s until 1890 was related to Lucinda and Mary Ratliff.

    1. Jonathan & Rachel Young
    2. I am searching for a Jonathan Young who married Rachel Ozombaugh. They were married between 1820 and 1830. I believe in Butler Co., PA. The following children were born in Butler Co.: Simon J., Eliza Ann, Margaret J., Susannah, Nuseanah. This family appeared on the Butler Co. Census in 1830 & 1840. By 1846 they were in Wapello Co., IA. Jonathan may have died in Wapello Co. I believe the rest of the family moved to Wayne Co., Iowa and then on into Missouri. Rachel married 2nd Charles Goliher in Jefferson Co., Iowa and then moved to Missouri. Can anyone help me with this family? I would like to find additional information on the whole family. Thank you in advance. Linda lannycaplinda@aol.com

Rozetta and James could have been married and away from home before the 1880 Census. And between 1870 and 1880 the others were born to this same family (Andrew's) or they could possibly belong to James.?? (Or the last child Cashmer could be son of James since his father was born in IA.) And another question? Do you have any idea who the parents of Charlotte Moore might be? Thanks. James You can e-mail me direct if you want.
