Now, that the weather has cooled up a wee bit, folks have been busy taking photos in our local cemeteries. Sometimes we forget these unsung heroes out there working to help our fellow genealogists. This is hard work, traipsing through the cemetery, photographing gravestones, coming home and uploading them to the GPP website but it is really appreciated. Ann White and David McDonigle have uploaded quite a few again lately bringing Washington County's total gravestone photos on line as of this morning to 1560. All over the state, the number is nearing 250,000. WOW! So, a big thank you to all of you and I apologise to those I didn't mention as there are many more of you out there helping to make this project a success. Keep up the good work.
