Forrest McNEIL D. Forrest McNeiLL, 76, of Muscatine, died at 7:41 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, 1995, at Muscatine General Hospital. Born Jan. 20, 1919 in Crawfordsville, he was the son of Dayton and Pearl ROGERS-McNEILL. On Aug. 16, 1946 he married Elsie L. STOUT at Washington. Mr. McNEILL had attended the American Institute of Commerce in Davenport. He was an assistant cashier at the Crawfordsville Bank. He worked in sales for 18 years with Moorman Manufacturing and 10 years in purchasing and shipping for Heinz-Starkist Foods. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Paul McNEILL of Colorado Springs, colo., and Stephen McNEILL of Burlington; one daughter, Mary CLAYTON of Creston; seven grandchildren; one brother, John McNEILL of Washington; one half-sister, Doris OWENS of Columbus Junction. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and one half-sister. Visitation was Monday at the George M. Wittich-Lewis Funeral Home in Muscatine. The funeral for Mr. McNEILL was at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Calvary Baptist Church, with the Rev. Dan Schoepf officiating. Burial was in the Crawfordsville Cemetery.
