He had been ill for the past month. Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the United Church of Crawfordsville with Rev. Dennis Johnson officiating. Burial was in the Crawfordsville Cememtery. He was born June 1, 1912, at Crawfordsville, the son of Frank William and Jessie Luella MITCHELL-FLETCHER. He never married and spent his entire life in this area. He had farmed and worked as a carpenter for the Wayland Carpenter Shop until his retirement. Mr. FLETCHER was a member of the United Presbyterian Church. Surviving are a brother, Lyle of Sherrard, Illinois and two sisters, Mrs. Dell (Lois) FARRIER of Columbus Junction and Mrs Delbert (Violet) LOWE of Brighton, and several nieces and nephews. His parents and two brothers, Vernon and Clarence FLETCHER, preceded him in death.
