KILGORE Died June 10 Mrs. Harry B. (Mabel) KILGORE of Route 1, Ainsworth, died at the Washington County Hospital June 10, 1970, after an illness of several years. She was born June 16, 1888, in Keokuk County, Iowa, the daughter of John H. and Sarah C. WHITE-SQUIRE. She was educted int he Washington County Schools and the Washington Academy. She was married April 11, 1907, at Washington, Iowa, to Harry H. (H or B?) KILGORE, who died November 24, 1965. She was a resident of Washington County most of her life. Mrs. KILGORE was a member of the Ainsworth United Presbyterian Church. Survivors include one son, Claude KILGORE of Ainsworth; one grandson, H. W. KILGORE of Ainsworth; one granddaughter, Mrs. Gary (Claudine) AUGUSTINE of Iowa City; five great grandchildren; two nieces; and one sister, Mrs. Russell GOODIN of Washington. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Sherman-Eden Funeral Home in Washington with Rev. Dale Brehmer and Rev. Karl Megchelsen officiating. Mrs. William Stewart was organist. Casket bearers were John Skubal, Sr., Eugene Stephens, Robert Megchelsen, George Colthurst, Larry Bean and Jesse Pearson. Burial was in the Ainsworth cemetery.
