Funeral services were Monday at the United Church of Crawfordsville. The Rev. Harlan Winter officiated with burial in the Crawfordsville Cememtery. A memorial fund has been established for the United Church of Crawfordsville. Hazel DAVIDSON-MOORHEAD was born June 30, 1896, in Washinton County, the daughter of Edwin J. and Lillian YARD-DAVIDSON. She graduated from Crawfordsville High School and attended Cornell College. On Dec. 20, 1917, she married Clarence MOORHEAD at Crawfordsville. Mrs. MOORHEAD taught school before her marriage. She was a member of the United Church of Crawfordsville, Wednesday Study Club, Eastern Star and Past Matrons Club. During the past year, she finished writing a book entitled, "Crawfordsville," a history of the community and Crawford Township. Survivors include her husband, Clarence MOORHEAD of Crawfordsville; one daughter, Mrs. John (Mary) ATKINSON of Farmington, Michigan; one grandson, James ATKINSON of Lansing, Michigan; two great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Lois JACKSON of Minneapolis, Minnesota; and one brother, Forest DAVIDSON of Omaha, Nebraska. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Elwyn and Milton DAVIDSON.
