Reply to the message or author by clicking on the link below. *************************************************************************** MESSAGE: (#138835) RICH, Lina Julia 1895-1970 <http://iagenweb.org/boards/washington/obituaries/index.cgi?rev=138835> AUTHOR: Mary E Boyer DATE: 12/28/2006 at 14:19:04 Surnames: RICH Lina Julia RICH Called By Death May 19, 1970 Lina Julia RICH, daughter of Joseph G. and Anna RICH was born July 16, 1895 and departed this life on May 19, 1970 in the Washington Hospital at Washington, Iowa at the age of 74 years, 10 months and 3 days. her early life was spent in the Noble Community, 44 years in Washington, Iowa and the past 5 years she and her sister, Bertha, have made their home in Columbus Junction, Iowa. Lina had been in ill health for a number of years but was patient in this affliction. She had received the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal Saviour and found much satisfaction and blessing from The Word of God and the old hymns of the faith. The Radio Ministries of the Radio Bible Class, Family Altar Broadcast and Bible Echoes were a source of Spiritual Blessing. She faithfully attended the church services as long as her health permitted. She leaves to mourn her passing one sister, Bertha of Columbus Junction, with whom she shared nearly 75 years of home life, one brother, Charles of Winfield and a number of other relatives and friends. The Zehr Funeral Home of Wayland was in charge of the memorial service on Friday at 1:30 p.m. The Rev. W. LaRoy Anderson, Pastor of the Independent Bible Church of Columbus Junction, Iowa officiated and the interment was in the Eicher Cemetery. Music was rendered by Daniel Anderson as organist and Marilyn Bausch and Philip Anderson singing. The casket bearers were Joe RICH, Raymond RICH, Lester Krabill, Lynn Fergerson, P.J.
