Funeral services were Monday at the United Church of Crawfordsville. The Rev. Harlan Winter officiated with burial in the Crawfordsville Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established for the United Church of Crawfordsville. Hazel DAVIDSON MOORHEAD was born June 30, 1896 in Washington County, the daughter of Edwin J. and Lillian YARD DAVIDSON. She graduated from Crawfordsville High School and Cornell College. On Dec. 30, 1917, she married Clarence MOORHEAD in Crawfordsville. She was a member of the united Methodist Church of Crawfordsville, Wednesday Study Club, Eastern Star and Past Matrons Club. During the past year she finished writing a book entitled, "Crawfordsville", a history of the community and Crawford Township. Survivors include her husband, Clarence MOORHEAD of Crawfordsville, one daughter, Mrs. John (Mary) Atkinson of Farmington, Michigan: one grandson, James Atkinson of Lansing, Michigan: two great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Lois JACKSON, Minneapolis, Minnesota and one brother Forest DAVDISON of Omaha, Nebraska.
