Jones DATE: 1/11/2007 at 01:45:49 Surnames: WHITT,DAVIS,RICE,BURLEY,CRAFT,TISOR,HEGGE,UNDERWOOD Violet Inez Rice, 42, of Parkside Estates, Washington, died Sunday night, May 29, 1994, of injuries suffered from an auto accident on Highway 54 near Eldon, MO. Born July 11, 1951, in Tazewell, Va, she was the daughter of Tivis (Bud) and Faye Whitt Davis. She married David Burley in Ohio. She then married Pete Craft on July 2, 1980, and Ralph Rice on Dec 5, 1986. Mrs. Rice was a homemaker and had lived in Washington the past two months. She attended Marion Avenue Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband; five daughters, Teresa Tisor of Bloomfield, Cynthia Burley of Atlanta, Texas, Jennifer Hegge of Boise, Idaho, and Tenille and Angela Burley at home; five stepchildren, Linda Lee and Ronald Rice of Mount Pleasant, Terry Rice of Bloomfield, Margaret McCannon of Wayland and Robin Hulen of Burlington; 11 grandchildren; her mother Faye Underwood of Morning Sun; and her father, Bud Davis of Pineville, Mo. She was preceded in death by her husband, Pete Craft. Visitation began at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Jones Funeral Home, Washington. The funeral for Mrs. Rice will be at 10 a.m. today at the Jones Funeral Home, with the Rev Larry Brown officiating. Burial will be in Fulton Cemetery in Cairo.
