McKune, 74, of 1005 East Washington Street died at 3 PM Monday, May 27, 1957 in the Washington County Hospital. She had been ill for one week. Funeral services will beheld at 2 PM Wednesday in the Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Walter Smith in charge. Burial will be at the Elm Grove Cemetery. Lucretia Shively was born Oct. 21, 1882 in Wayland, the daughter of Jacob and Harriet Stones Shively. She was reared and educated in the Wayland community and married in Washington March 30, 1804 to Frank T. McKune. They lived on a farm eight miles south of Washington until moving here in 1930. Survivors include her husband; three sons, Verle E. of Davenport, Lawrence E., and Grant S. of Washington; two grandchildren; one brother David Shively of Burlington; one sister, Mrs. Mary Ballard of Washington. One son, Carlton is deceased.
