Vargus DATE: 1/28/2007 at 15:36:14 Surnames: STOCKMAN,WOODS,NORDSTRUM,RIME,MARTIN Source: Washington Evening Journal, July 12, 1968 JOHN STOCKMAN, 69, DIES IN MOLINE Funeral for John (Jack) Stockman, 69, of Moline, Ill., who died Monday night at the St. Anthony's Hospital in Moline was Thursday at Moline with burial in Brighton. He was a former resident of Washington. Mr. Stockman was born October 6, 1898 near Fairfield the son of Mr. and Mrs. William F. Stockman. He was educated in the Fairfield Schools and was employed by Iowa Southern Utilities in Washington for several years. He is survived by thee children, a daughter, LaVonne Woods, of Davenport; two sons, Robert and Ronald both of Milwaukee; six brothers, William of Des Moines, Joe of Northridge, Calif., Lee of Boulder, Colo., Virgil of Winfield, Ia., Ivan of Downey, Calif., and Louis of Davenport; three sisters, Mrs. Gus Nordstrum of Bloomfield, Colorado; Mrs. Mildred Rime of Toledo, Ohio, and Mrs. Eugene Martin of Washington.
