In order to be in compliance with UsGenWeb, we are required to have lookup volunteers for the Washington County IaGenWeb site. While our assistant coordinator, Janet Evans does do lookups for obituaries and takes cemetery photos when possible, we still need names to list on the website as willing to do lookups either in books that they own or who live in Washington County that can go to the library to do lookups. While I know we have members of the Washington County that do respond to this list, or to the Message Boards, it would be nice if I could list them on the lookup pages. If you are willing to do lookups, please let me know. If you are already doing it, I would like to give you credit. E-mail addresses that I had in the past have stopped working over the years and it needs to be updated. Thank you to all those that do help to make the data possible on the following sites that I maintain. http://www.rootsweb.com/~iawashin http://iagenweb.org/civilwar http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~jennings New photos have been added recently of old places in Washington County. There are still a few duplicates but eventually these will be enhanced and spiffed up a bit more as time permits. Histories of the places in these photos are always welcome. http://www.rootsweb.com/~iawashin/ainsworth/ainsworth_photos.htm http://www.rootsweb.com/~iawashin/new_brighton/index.html http://www.rootsweb.com/~iawashin/was_album/index.html http://www.rootsweb.com/~iawashin/wayland/index.html More photos are always welcome of towns and places in Washington County.
