I have family that belonged to the Seceder Church, and they were buried at Woodlawn Cemetery in Washington, Iowa. I noticed that the William Nelson that is mentioned in the above book is buried at Woodlawn Cemetery. His date of birth was 2/8/1794 and died 4/22/1881- possibly brother of John? I found this information on the Iowa WPA graves website. I was at Woodlawn Cemetery last year. Some of the older gravestones are very hard to read.
