Jacobs died Wednesday afternoon, Jan 1, 1986, at the Jefferson County Hospital. Mr. Jacobs was born July 1, 1904 in Washington County, the son of Mark and Nettie Baker Jacobs. On June 4, 1934 in Macomb, IL., he married Iva Belle Davidson. Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Sheila Jo Wicker of Norfolk, VA.; two granddaughtrs; one great-granddaughter; two sisters, Ethel Bright of Rubio and Luisa Bell of Mt Pleasant. A sister and three brothers preceded him in death.
