Streit, 62, of Keota, died in Cedar Rapids Sunday night, July 14, 1949. Michael Joseph Streit was born May 1, 1887, near Keota, son of Matthias and Angeleline (Becker) Streit. He was married to Gertrude Palm in 1910. To this union was born a daughter, Mary Madelyn, wife of Rodney Dunn. His wife and daughter survive him, also a g randdaughte, Sandra Lynn, and one sister, Mrs. Mike Spanier of Richland. Two sisters, Rose E. Booth and Elizabeth Hupach prceded him in death.
