Mrs. Hahn was born Sep 8, 1877, in Washington County to John and Katheryn Streit Palm. She was married Feb 12, 1901, to Nick Hahn who died in 1952. Survivors include three sons; John of Washington, Albert and Bernard of Keota; nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren; three sisters; Mrs. Eva Fosdick of Keota, Pearl Palm of Albia, Mrs. Gertrude Streit of Cedar Rapids, Mrs Clarence Brown of Brighton, and Mrs. Mary Kleinschmidt of Keota.
