Also the Washington county, Iowa, Historical Society located on the second floor of the Library in Washington has the best local resources I have ever seen. I am sure if you contact someone there for a small fee they can find it for you. Iowa allowed the Mormon church to microfilm all their records, so I have found the same information on microfilm that I find when I visit the county court houses. Also the court house has an index on the computer of all vital records that they have.
