Earnest, 77, of Washington, died Thursday night, Dec 20, 1979. Earnest was born Apr 17, 1902, in Washington County, a son of C.W. and Mary Schadd Earnest. He married Bertha Kephart on Dec 16, 1943, in Washington County. Survivors include his wife; four daughters, Illa Mae, Betty, and Kathy, all of Washington; and Mrs. Fred (Carol)Elvin, Columbus, OH., three brothers; twin brother, Chris, Washington; Homer, Wayland, and Everette, Wayland; Mrs. Don (Ina) Holmes, Washington; and Mrs. John (Iva) Ferguson, Burlington; and two grandsons. He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
