Hello fellow listers, I was told I should post this again because in the subject line I put 1938 instead of 1838 as I intended. I am trying to locate the name of the ship that George Conrad Roos (b. 2-16-1786) came to America from Masevaux, Haut-Rhin, Alsace on. His passport was dated 5-4-1838. He came over with his five children, Ann Marie Louise b. 1816, Jacques Conrad b. 1818, Francois Auguste b. 1824, Marie Josephine b. 1826 and Louis Francois b. 1833. I believe George Conrad Roos might have started using the name Conrad Rose after he came to America. I think he originally settled in Ohio, then this family went to Iowa.
