Roll Call: RUPP, PURCELL, BENEDICT These are my relative who have lived in Washington County. 1) John RUPP, br. 1848, died 1927 lived in Washington County from 1870-1910 or longer probably lived in Lime Creek Township first wife was Margaret PURCELL, who died in 1897, at age 45 and is buried at the Elm Grove Cemetery. Their children were Hugh and Alice John remarried someone named Mary, because she is listed in the 1910 census. By 1925, John is living in Santa Clara, California. Does anyone know anything about this family? I would like to know who Mary, his second wife could be, and if she was alive when John went to California. 2) Charles RUPP, brother to John, Charles wife was Amanda BENEDICT, and they were married in Muscatine in 1875. Charles and Amanda were living in Washington Co. in 1904 according to a relatives obituary. I would like to know what happened to Charles and Amanda Rupp. Thanks, Nicky Eickerman
