    3. Linda, Undoubtedly the HAMILTONs in Washington co. are related to several in Louisa co. John HAMILTON, my gggrandfather, buried in Brown-Rice Cemetery in Louisa had brothers Samuel and Israel. After Samuel's death, most of his family moved to Indiana then to Washington co.IA. I don't know what happened to Israel's family. John, Samuel and Israel HAMILTON had two sisters...Jane HAMILTON married Samuel BELL and the other sister [not sure of her given name] married John MILLER. One of the MILLER sons, John, came to IA and married Ann PAISLEY, sister of Lydia PAISLEY w/o Andrew HAMILTON, sister Dorothy "Dolly" PAISLEY w/o William HAMILTON. Andrew & William were sons of John HAMILTON.
